Support Groups
Finding people who are able to identify with the challenges you face can be empowering. An HIV diagnosis can bring forth a variety of emotions and hurdles in your communication and disclosure.
Psychosocial Support Services include support and counseling activities, child abuse and neglect counseling, HIV support groups, pastoral care, caregiver support, and bereavement counseling. It also includes nutrition counseling provided by a non-registered dietitian, but it excludes the provision of nutritional supplements.
Consider partnering up with others who have overcome some of the same issues by joining a supportive group of peers.
